Front End Developer - Active Security Clearance Required Location: Remote - with ad-hoc visits to office Contract: 3 months Onboarding: By 25th August We're currently seeking a skilled Front-End Developer with active Security Clearance (this is non-negotiable) to join a high-profile project within the government sector. You will be an expert in Next.js and React, with advanced experience in developing sophisticated UI/UX designs and delivering seamless, high-quality web applications. You'll collaborate closely with backend developers to build robust, scalable solutions. Experience working with government agencies and consultancies is highly desirable and will give you a strong advantage. This is an Outside IR35 Contract with a day rate of £500 p/d. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and deploy high-quality front-end web applications using Next.js and React. Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, performant, and accessible user interfaces. Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality. Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain code quality. Support agile delivery processes by attending sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Essential Requirements: Active Security Clearance - this is mandatory Expert-level experience with Next.js and React development. Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and experience building user-centric web applications. Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams, including backend developers and designers. Previous experience working within government agencies or consultancies is highly desirable.
