*Position Summary*
Due to continued growth and development, WRC is recruiting for a qualified *Lead HGV* *Mechanic/ Workshop Supervisor* to join our growing team in support of our ongoing expansion. This is the perfect position for an individual with HGV experience looking for their next career jump to a market-leading Recycling firm ahead of a major expansion.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our growing fleet of vehicles at our Inchinnan depot.
*Duties*
* Maintenance and repair of WRC’s modern fleet of vehicles to ensure they are compliant with current health and safety regulations as well as DVLA standards.
* Regularly completing fault diagnosis on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
* Carrying out day-to-day repairs such as basic welding and servicing
* Willingness to assist with the regular maintenance and servicing of WRC’s recycling plant
* Ensure all repairs and servicing are carried out to MOT standards
* Maintain a thorough knowledge of HGV vehicles and products
* Regular fault diagnosis and rectification
*Requirements of the role*
* The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving license.
* Class 1 HGV license would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
* Experience working with HGV vehicles and associated systems such as hydraulics, electrics and brakes
* Competent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Physically fit with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks
* Ability to work alongside a team of qualified mechanics
* Candidates must be self-motivated with strict attention to detail.
