We are passionate and excited about how we can develop and utilise new technologies to shape and inspire changes within an ever-growing marketplace. As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Group Sustainability Analyst to join our team at Cowick on a fixed-term contract for 18 months to play a key role in collecting, analysing, and reporting sustainable sourcing data. Insights generated in this role will directly support the delivery of Croda's Net Zero commitments and Science-Based Targets.
The successful candidate will work confidently with data and data visualisation to communicate insights effectively ensuring sustainability data adds value and supports decision-making across the business.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
Basic understanding of sustainability or ESG concepts.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Preferred
Internship, coursework, or project experience in sustainability, ESG, or data analysis.
Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Exposure to greenhouse gas accounting or ESG reporting frameworks.

What You'll Be Doing

Data Collection & Support
Lead the collection and validation of sustainable sourcing data, including renewable content, raw material traceability, and product carbon footprint data.
Lead on data entry, quality checks, and documentation of methodologies.
Continually improve sustainability databases, spreadsheets, and reporting dashboards.
Ability to handle large complex datasets from multiple sources with varying data quality levels.
Analysis & Reporting
Conduct data analysis to identify trends and sustainable sourcing opportunities
Lead renewability content guideline and process
Support with the wider group calculations for greenhouse gas emissions and other impact metrics.
Quarterly reporting on sustainable sourcing progress.
Ability to ensure high data quality and timely delivery in support of sustainability assurance processes and external audits.
Work with data and analytics to transition frequent analysis into standardised reports or dashboards where possible.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Ability to collaborate across global teams and manage multiple workstreams spanning sustainability, procurement, quality/regulatory, and data and analytics functions.
Support supplier engagement and external data collection efforts.
Help respond to internal and external sustainability data requests.
Learning & Process Improvement
Learn and apply sustainability frameworks and reporting standards
Support process improvements to make data collection more efficient and accurate.
Stay informed about sustainability trends and emerging regulations.
