About the School:
The South Lanarkshire Council (SLC) Visual Impairment Service (Education) was established in and its team of Teachers of the Visually Impaired and School Support Assistants serves children and pupils who have a visual impairment through its 4 component teams.
These are:
1. The Early Years and Primary ASN Visual Impairment (Education) team for SLC.
2. The Secondary Schools' Visual Impairment (Education) team for SLC & NLC.
3. The Vision Support Team (V.S.T.) supporting pupils on Specialist Placement at Uddingston Grammar School.
4. The Braille Transcription Service.
All of these teams are based at Uddingston Grammar School.
