Planner – West Sussex
I’m currently working with a well-established planning consultancy that is looking to recruit a Planner to join their team in the West Sussex area.
This is a great opportunity for a planning professional who wants to work on a varied workload across the South East, within a supportive team that offers clear development and long-term career progression.
The Role
You will be involved in:
1. Managing and supporting planning applications across residential, commercial, and rural developments
2. Preparing planning statements, policy reviews, and supporting documents
3. Liaising with local planning authorities, clients, and project consultants
4. Assisting with site appraisals and development strategies
5. Supporting senior planners on more complex schemes and appeals
About You
My client would like to speak with candidates who have:
6. A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
7. Experience within UK planning (local authority or consultancy)
8. MRTPI or working towards chartered status
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills
10. A proactive and organised approach to work
