Job Description
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HSE Advisor to join a main contractor on Hinckley Point. This role in particular is based out of the Avonmouth office and requires marine/offshore/civils works
Our client is looking for a HSE Advisor to join them working on the Civil Engineering/Marine aspects of the project an will involve working on shore and offshore. This is an initial 6 month contract, with the opportunity to move on to other upcoming projects beyond this. This role falls inside IR35.

Package offered for this HSE Advisor role:
· £480-£550 per day based on experience
· Inside IR35
· 6 month initial contract with potential for future extension
Key responsibilities for this HSE Advisor role:
1. Offer daily technical advice and support on all health and safety issues
2. Conduct risk-based monitoring
3. Continue to enhance H&S Management
4. Promote and enforce H&S Standards
5. Risk based inspection and audits to assess health and safety performance.
6. Develop health and safety risk profiles
7. Ensure compliance and Reviews
8. Conducts inspections, manage accident investigations and maintain records and reports.
9. Provide training, briefing and information on the H&S management system
10. Design an implement zero-tolerance HSE programs to raise awareness across the project
11. Work collaboratively with other safety, health and environmental professionals to develop integrated safety policies and systems.
Experience required for this HSE Advisor role:
12. Experience in a similar role.
13. Ideally Marine/Offshore experience
14. Some flexibility required working some nights etc as and when required
15. Hold a minimum NEBOSH certificate or equivalent
16. Able to deliver internal H&S management courses
17. Advise on health and safety issues on a day to day basis on site
18. Conduct standard accident investigations on site
19. Able to write site inspection reports and audit reports
