Role Description - Account Manager (Technical Sales of test driving simulation technologies)
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Account Manager, located in Solihull.
Main responsible include:
* Developing leads within OEMs' supply chains and service providers to deliver sales of solutions for virtual vehicle development to customers in the UK region
* Understanding the customer's needs and delivering examples of solutions that demonstrate clear capability
* Nurturing and maintaining customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction with IPG products and services, acting as a trusted advisor, helping customers achieve their goals
* Create and execute weekly, targeted contact plans for the various customer domains (e.g. vehicle dynamics, ADAS, powertrain)
* Identifying and resolving client concerns
* Monthly sales reporting including forecasting, achievements and market updates
* Building quotes and contracts for sales opportunities

Your Profile
* Mechanical, automotive, robotics or other related engineering graduate
* Independent problem solving and decision making with only broad direction given on assignment
* Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a technical role, preferably automotive
* Sales, marketing experience
* Good humoured, proactive personality with high levels of initiative and integrity
* Excellent communication skills
* Willingness to travel nationally when required
* Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools is a plus
