About the role I'm looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join an adapting team. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient cloud and on-premise environments. What you'll be doing Building, maintaining, and optimising cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation) to provision and manage infrastructure. Managing physical and virtual servers, storage, and backup solutions. Administering Windows/Linux operating systems and ensuring patching, updates, and compliance. Supporting and troubleshooting networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, switches, routing). Monitoring system performance and capacity, ensuring uptime and reliability. Supporting CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices. Collaborating with developers, security, and operations teams to deliver high-quality services. Driving automation and continuous improvement across infrastructure and deployments. Providing 3rd line support and resolving escalated infrastructure issues. What we're looking for Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role. Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent). Solid understanding of networking, virtualisation, and containerisation (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes). Experience managing Windows/Linux servers and related core services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.). Knowledge of storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
