Oaklands Global Aviation & Aerospace are currently looking to recruit an experienced Compliance Engineer for a reputable MRO based in the UK. You’ll play a hands-on part in maintaining and improving quality and compliance standards across base and line maintenance operations. Working closely with operational teams, you’ll contribute to a proactive safety culture while ensuring regulatory compliance is consistently achieved.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct internal Part audits, including maintenance sample checks, aircraft inspections, and supplier audits
2. Provide on-site quality support to base maintenance in Stansted, with occasional travel to Luton and other locations
3. Build effective working relationships across the Part organisation to promote quality and safety standards
4. Prepare audit documentation, review applicable regulations, and maintain audit checklists
5. Support supplier approvals, internal authorisations, and single event approvals
6. Lead audit opening and closing meetings, ensuring clear communication of findings and actions
7. Monitor audit trends and recommend practical improvements
8. Maintain quality databases and KPI reporting
9. Liaise with regulatory authorities and support ongoing compliance activities
10. Assist with certifying staff authorisations and wider quality initiatives
Requirements
11. Recognised Lead Auditor qualification (or working towards)
12. Strong working knowledge of Part- and Part-66, with exposure to Part CAMO
13. Proven ability to build strong working relationships across teams and stakeholders
14. Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable managing your own workload
15. Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
16. Flexible approach with willingness to travel within the UK and internationally
