We’re looking for an experienced Senior Credit Hire Litigator to join our expanding team based in our Chester office. Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of credit hire claims from defence to settlement.
* Keep up-to-date with developments in credit hire case law and Civil Procedure Rules.
* Communicate regularly with clients, credit hire organisations, third parties, and solicitors, ensuring clients are informed about case progression.
* Instruct counsel ahead of trials, applications, and conferences.
* Review evidence to assess the prospects of success and the value of credit hire and other special damages.
* Advise clients on case outcomes.
* Draft necessary court documents and comply with court directions.
* Negotiate settlements and ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs.
What are we looking for?
* Proven experience in credit hire and motor claims litigation.
* In-depth knowledge of credit hire case law and its application.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
* Strong customer service skills and the ability to build client relationships.
* A proactive approach, eager to learn and adapt as required.
* A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work well under pressure.
