On behalf of Tesco Bank, AMS are now looking for a Financial Control Analyst based in Edinburgh for a 12-month contract. It will be a hybrid model.
Purpose of the role:
To support the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process by raising requisitions, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely and accurate supplier payments.
What you'll do:
Raising requisitions, ensuring accurate coding
Receipting of goods and services to ensure invoices can be matched to purchase orders
Managing purchase orders
Monthly reconciliations of receipted contractor purchase orders to time recording
Analysis of weekly invoices on holds and initiating corrective action
Ad hoc analysis on status of purchase orders and complete expenditure
Raising risks and issues as they arise and ensuring respective control framework requirements are adhered to
Forming strong relationships across the business and with external stakeholders
The skills you'll need:
Strong IT skills, including Excel and ideally Oracle iProcurement (or other requisitioning applications).
Strong communication and relationship building skills.
Data analysis and problem-solving skills.
Internal and external stakeholder management.
Financial Services environment experience.
