The Service Manager will lead and oversee the effective operation of Asana Lodge, a private 22 bed treatment service specializing in addiction recovery based in Towcester, Northamptonshire.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring high standards of care, compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a positive, recovery-focused environment. They will provide strong leadership, strategic direction, and excellent management to staff and stakeholders, demonstrating passion for addiction recovery and a deep understanding of the importance of client-centered treatment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Lead the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring delivery of safe, effective, and compliant treatment in line with company policies, regulatory standards, and best practice.
* Develop and maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders and Senior Management and external agencies to support service growth and quality.
* Ensure the service complies with all relevant legislation, including safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection.
* Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional development.
* Oversee clinical and operational governance, including audits, incident management, and quality assurance processes.
* Implement and monitor policies, procedures, and protocols that promote a high standard of care and compliance.
* Manage budgets effectively, aiming for cost efficiencies without compromising quality.
* Lead on recruitment, staff development, and retention strategies to build a skilled and motivated team.
* Ensure the implementation of recovery-focused practices, including evidence-based interventions and client feedback.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience managing a private treatment or healthcare service, with a strong understanding of compliance and governance requirements.
* Demonstrable leadership skills, with a track record of managing multidisciplinary teams effectively.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Deep understanding of addiction recovery, mental health, and safeguarding legislation.
* Experience in developing recovery pathways and implementing evidence-based practices.
* Budget management experience with a focus on cost control and efficiency.
* Previous experience working with external agencies and in partnership development.
