Job Description
Gentech Recruitment is partnering with a client based in Craigavon to recruit a Welder/Fabricator Supervisor. The role involves liaising with senior team members to establish workload requirements, reading and understanding pipe fabrication drawings, and fabricating pipe sets for various diameters (typically carbon steel & stainless steel pipes ranging from 65mm to 500mm) from shop drawings. The supervisor must ensure adherence to welding procedures, proper pipe preparation and fit-up, and coordinate with line managers regarding defects, safety issues, and non-conformances. Responsibilities include ensuring timely progress of allocated work in accordance with workload and specifications.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Previous MIG and TIG welding experience
* Previous fabrication experience
* Previous supervisory experience
