About the Role
Join the UKs largest building compliance team as a Level 1 Air Tightness Tester, focusing on domestic dwelling projects in London and nearby regions. Play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations 2021, contributing to energy:efficient, sustainable buildings. This position offers growth opportunities, including progression to Level 2 certification, as well as skills development in thermal imaging, sound testing, and consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct air tightness tests on domestic dwellings per regulatory standards.
* Perform site inspections and identify potential air leakage issues.
* Review architectural drawings and offer design recommendations.
* Provide consultancy to enhance air tightness and reduce construction risks.
* Prepare detailed test reports and recommend remedial actions.
* Collaborate with clients and teams to meet air tightness targets efficiently.
Qualifications
* Level 1 Air Tightness Tester certification (or equivalent).
* Knowledge of Part L of the Building Regulations 2021.
* Strong attention to detail, problem:solving, and time management skills.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Valid UK driving licence (travel across London and nearby areas required).
