The Role: Audit Senior (Associate) You’ll take a lead role on audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with managers and partners while supporting junior team members. Key responsibilities include: Leading audit fieldwork on-site and/or at client premises, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard Planning audits, preparing audit programmes and coordinating timelines Preparing and reviewing audit files and ensuring completion of audit documentation Drafting accounts and reports and assisting with completion meetings Building strong working relationships with clients and acting as a day-to-day contact Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues where needed Requirements (What you’ll need) To be a strong fit, you’ll ideally have: 3 years’ UK accountancy practice experience (audit-focused) Proven experience leading audits from planning to completion ACA / ACCA qualified or finalist (or equivalent) Strong technical grounding in: audit methodology, risk assessment, and file completion Confidence using audit software and Excel (pivot tables, reconciliations, working papers) A professional, client-facing approach and the ability to manage deadlines If you’re slightly under/over on experience but the role sounds aligned, it’s still worth a conversation.
