Key Responsibilities:
* Provide senior clinical advice and support to triage, MDT, and regular team meetings
* Ensure timely review and response to referrals
* Undertake assessments of new patients and provide supervision to junior clinicians
* Manage and review complex cases, ensuring appropriate care packages are in place
* Undertake domiciliary visits and emergency assessments
* Carry out Mental Health Act-related responsibilities
* Support GPs and primary care clinicians with advice and joint management where needed
* Liaise closely with wards, CRHTT, Psychiatric Liaison, AMHP, Forensic Services, and voluntary sector partners to facilitate admissions, discharges, and recovery-focused care
* Monitor caseloads to ensure safe practice and effective patient flow
Requirements:
* Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
* Approved Clinician (AC) status
* Experience working within community adult psychiatry
