As a Skilled Groundworker, you will be responsible for delivering high-standard external and infrastructure works, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, accurately, and in line with project specifications.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience installing kerbs and edgings to line and level
Skilled in slab laying and block paving
Competent in cutting out and reinstating tarmac
Experienced in laying ducts and associated groundwork
Ability to work from drawings and site instructions
Confident in setting out levels and maintaining accuracy
Knowledge of sub-base preparation and compaction requirements
Strong understanding of materials used in road formation and paving works
Ability to carry out daily pre-start checks on tools and small plant
Awareness of safe working practices, particularly around live services
Desirable
CPCS/NPORS tickets
Experience operating small plant such as rollers, dumpers, or saws
5+ years' experience in external works or infrastructure projects
Established gangs or teams who work well together
