A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a stunning harbourside hotel and restaurant in Fowey as Bar & Restaurant Supervisor, supporting the relaunch of the restaurant as a standalone destination within the local community.
This is an exciting time for the business, with renewed focus on food, drinks, branding and guest experience. We are looking for someone who can support the General Manager in driving standards, shaping the drinks offering and helping elevate service across the site.

The Venue
Set in one of Cornwall’s most picturesque coastal towns, the hotel and restaurant combine relaxed Cornish hospitality with a quality-led food and drinks offering. The restaurant celebrates fresh, locally sourced produce and works with regional suppliers across food, wine, beers and spirits.
The bar plays a central role in the guest experience — from Cornish ales and curated wines to well-executed cocktails and premium coffees.

The Role
This is not just a floor supervisor role — it’s a hands-on leadership position within a small, ambitious team.
You will:
* Support the GM in the day-to-day running of the bar and restaurant
* Lead shifts confidently across floor and bar
* Help refine and reprice the drinks list, contributing ideas and commercial awareness
* Take ownership of delegated projects and report back with initiative
* Train, coach and develop the team to deliver consistent, high standards
* Maintain smooth service flow and strong guest engagement
* Handle guest feedback with confidence and professionalism
* Ensure bar presentation, stock control and cleanliness standards are maintained
Because this is a smaller site, you will be involved across multiple aspects of the operation — making this ideal for someone who wants exposure and responsibility.

About You
* Previous supervisory experience within quality hospitality
* Strong bar knowledge including cocktails, wines and coffee
* Commercially aware and confident working with pricing and product development
* Able to operate independently and take initiative
* Positive, energetic and professional
* Comfortable in a busy seasonal environment
* Passionate about hospitality and guest experience
You should be someone the GM can trust to take ownership of projects and deliver results.
