Locum Registered Veterinary Nurse – 12-Month Maternity Cover
An exciting opportunity has become available for a confident and compassionate Locum Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly and supportive team near Crawley on a 12-month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.
About the Role
* 12-month fixed-term maternity cover
* £23/hour (D.O.E.)
* 4 to 5 days per week
* Varied and rewarding caseload
* Opportunity to make an impact in a team-focused setting
Ideal Candidate Profile
* 8 years of experience across independent and branch practices
* RVN qualified since 2017
* Confident in both sole charge and team-based settings
* Competent in all routine nursing duties including anaesthesia monitoring, inpatient care, consulting, and schedule 3 procedures
* BVNA Oral Care Certificate holder
* Proven experience developing nurse clinics and mentoring junior team members
* Previous head nurse experience with leadership, appraisals, and practice operations
* Comfortable working with exotics and small animals
* Adaptable, friendly, and confident using various clinical systems
