Fabric Engineer

Contract: minimum 5 months work
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Rate: £19.77 per hour

About the Role:
Build Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer to join our client’s FM maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a large commercial site which is open to the public, carrying out day-to-day Carpentry upgrades and general maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out a variety of carpentry repairs
2. Deliver high-quality maintenance (PPM & reactive)
3. Conduct secondary trade work to a competent standard (e.g., basic plumbing, patch plaster, tiling, etc.)
4. Use of PDA to log jobs
5. Maintain excellent customer service throughout your visits
Requirements:
6. NVQ or City & Guilds L2 in Carpentry / Joinery
7. Previous experience in a maintenance setting
8. Experience with fire doors is desirable
9. Strong communication and customer service skills
10. Full UK Driving Licence
11. Ability to perform basic secondary trades (desirable)
