Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be responsible for the preparation of all foods within the Kitchen, ensuring it is to the highest of standards. You will be quick, efficient, and accurate, providing prompt service delivery. Following the clear directions of the Executive Chef, you will learn the importance of consistency and cost control. You will follow correct hygienic food handling practices and adhere to the restaurant’s cleaning and waste disposal procedures.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and excellent kitchen knowledge, along with an understanding of food safety and hygiene relevant to your work environment. Relevant NVQ or professional qualifications are preferred, but your technical skills and flexibility will be key differentiators.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience as a Commis Chef in a 5-star establishment and/or experience in a Michelin-star or AA Rosette restaurant. You should be immaculately presented and possess authentic yet impeccable customer service skills.
