About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a flexible, student‑focused professional to work as part of the Inclusive Student Support Services Specialist Study Skills team.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing one‑to‑one specialist tuition to students with SpLDs, ASC, AD(H)D, mental health conditions, medical conditions and other support needs.
* Helping students develop study skills and strategies to work effectively in higher education while accommodating their conditions.
* Tailoring support to individual needs, setting clear goals and time‑frames, and achieving those goals.
* Delivering effective, integrated support that is independent, enthusiastic and suitably qualified.

Welsh Language Skills
The required level is Welsh Level 1 – A little. The role holder must be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (e.g., ‘Good morning’, ‘Afternoon’), use basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please, etc.), and can reach Level 1 by completing a one‑hour course.
