Overview
HC-One Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom. We are hiring in the care sector where kindness is at the heart of all we do across Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Our residents have their own stories, and you’ll help them live with dignity and purpose.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our team. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you’ll support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents, including personal care such as washing, dressing, hygiene and meals, and helping with daily activities in the home. You’ll deliver care that comes from the heart and respect each resident’s individuality, including support for those with limited mobility, distressed residents, or providing compassionate end-of-life care.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training as needed.
