Home Manager - Small Residential Home (Ellesmere Port)

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Manager to lead a small, well‑established residential care home in Ellesmere Port. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manager or a confident Deputy looking to take the next step in their career.
You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance and operational excellence while creating a warm, supportive and person‑centred environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the residential home
* Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies
* Lead, motivate and support the care team
* Maintain high standards of person‑centred care
* Manage staffing, rotas, recruitment and training
* Build strong relationships with residents, families and external professionals
* Drive continuous improvement and maintain a positive home culture
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Home Manager or a strong Deputy ready to step up
* Strong understanding of CQC standards and compliance
* Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
* Passion for delivering high‑quality care
* Ability to manage a small team and create a positive working environment
