Digital Sales Manager (Inside Sales) - Learning Solutions
Location: Loughborough, Hybrid
About you: You're an experienced Sales Manager who thrives in a high-energy environment. You'll lead a high-performing inside sales team focused on new business in the learning and development technology sector. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven leader passionate about developing sales talent. You will drive performance through coaching, modern sales technology, and fostering a culture of excellence in prospecting and consultative selling.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Leading, coaching, and developing a team of inside sales professionals to exceed new business targets.
2. Driving a new business-first sales strategy with strong pipeline generation and disciplined execution.
3. Implementing activity-based KPIs to ensure quality outreach and follow-up.
4. Utilizing sales enablement tools (CRM, call intelligence, sequencing platforms) to enhance team performance.
5. Promoting a data-driven, tech-enabled sales culture using insights for coaching and decision-making.
6. Collaborating with marketing to align outbound campaigns with sales goals.
7. Providing accurate forecasting and performance reports to senior leadership.
8. Guiding the team through multi-touch, consultative sales cycles with a solution-based approach.
Required skills and experience:
* Proven success in managing and developing inside sales teams, ideally in SaaS or tech-enabled environments.
* Strong background in new business sales, outbound prospecting, and pipeline management.
* Deep knowledge of modern sales tools, including outreach platforms, CRM, and call analytics.
* Experience managing high-volume sales cycles.
* Natural coaching ability with a passion for developing emerging sales talent.
* Experience in learning tech is a plus; SaaS experience is also valued.
