Position Overview: They are seeking a passionate and driven Whisky Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for whisky, along with a proven track record in sales and business development within the beverage industry. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our portfolio of whisky brands and driving sales growth in your designated territory.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration for our whisky brands.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including bars, restaurants, retailers, and wholesalers.
* Conduct regular sales visits and product presentations to showcase our whisky portfolio and educate customers on product features and benefits.
* Identify new business opportunities and pursue leads to expand our customer base.
* Collaborate with marketing and promotions teams to plan and execute promotional events, tastings, and brand activations.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges.
* Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and business development activities.
Qualifications:
* Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the beverage industry.
* Passion for whisky and strong knowledge of different whisky styles, brands, and production methods.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated territory.
