Hays Education are working with a supportive primary school in the Wolverhampton area who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and confident Year 4 Teacher from April. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday, continuing through to the end of the academic year.

Your New RoleYou will take full responsibility for the Year 4 class, which includes a small number of pupils with mild behaviour needs. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 4 curriculum
2. Maintaining positive behaviour strategies to support learning and consistency
3. Creating an inclusive classroom environment that promotes progress for all learners
4. Working collaboratively with colleagues in this one‑form entry setting
5. Attending meetings, including team meetings, reviews and parents’ evenings
What You’ll Need to Succeed
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 4
8. Confidence in managing behaviour using positive and consistent approaches
9. Strong organisational andmunication skills
10. Ability to plan engaging lessons that meet the needs of a mixed‑ability class
11. A proactive andmitted attitude to supporting pupils’ academic and personal development
