One YMCA is expanding rapidly and has recently refurbished our Hatfield & Welwyn Garden City hostels. We’re looking for Supported Housing Workers to provide safe, person-centred support to residents, helping them achieve independence and improve their lives.
Key Responsibilities
• Support residents to identify goals in accommodation, health, wellbeing, education, and employment.
• Deliver personalised support plans and life skills guidance.
• Provide advocacy, mediation, and motivation to empower residents.
• Develop move-on plans and support transitions into independent housing.
• Ensure safe, high-quality accommodation and maintain records.
• Work closely with external agencies and partner organisations.
About You
• Passionate about helping people overcome homelessness.
• Empathetic, proactive, and able to build positive relationships.
• A team player who can balance frontline support with administrative tasks.
