About the role
The role offers opportunities to train, grow, and progress in a direction that suits your skillset and interests. You will work on a variety of live projects within a multidisciplinary design team, supported by both design and site teams, and have a positive impact on the community. You will also be automatically enrolled in our bespoke Early Careers Development Programme, a 12‑month scheme to enhance your skills, expand your network, and enrich your experience.
What you'll do
* Prepare detailed civil engineering designs and calculations
* Produce technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules
* Work closely and collaboratively with the construction team to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions throughout the design stages, into construction and beyond
* Prepare designer risk assessments, health & safety risk assessments, and associated documents and reports
* Positively engage and collaborate with the client, managing relationships and adopting a One‑Team approach
What you'll need
* Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering (BEng) or a post‑graduate qualification (MSc)
* Excellent verbal communication skills, allowing you to confidently liaise with clients and team members
* Excellent written communication and attention to detail, and the ability to produce accurate technical drawings and good report writing
* A considered approach to problem solving

Mott MacDonald Bentley are not currently offering sponsorship to candidates under the Skilled Worker visa route in the UK.
