The Technical Controller ensures that all products are manufactured to legal, customer, and company standards while providing technical oversight to support safe food production. Hours of work ; Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30 What you will do; Oversee and maintain the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) based on HACCP, VACCP, TACCP, and prerequisite programs. Lead internal audits and ensure timely closure of non-conformances. Supervise and develop technical, Lab and hygiene teams as required. Lead investigations into food safety incidents, customer complaints, environmental positives, or audit non-conformances. Validate raw material specifications (what makes it safe) Customer Lead for assigned account What we need from you; Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Technology, or similar (or equivalent experience). HACCP Level 3 or 4 (Lead HACCP preferred). Food Safety Level 3 or 4. Minimum 35 years in a technical role or food safety leadership role operating at senior level Experience in a food manufacturing environment (chilled, dairy, bakery, produce, or similar). Experience managing or preparing for BRCGS/customer audits. Demonstrated ability to lead investigations and implement CAPAs. Strong understanding of food safety laws, microbiology, allergens, and HACCP. Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
