The Opportunity
We are currently looking for an Stores Operative to join our friendly team based at our concrete plant in Hulland Ward
As a Stores Operative you will be responsible for efficiently managing and maintaining inventory within a storage facility. This role involves tasks such as receiving, inspecting, distributing goods, raising orders, as well as maintaining accurate records of inventory levels.
The Stores Operative plays a crucial role in ensuring that the right products are available for distribution and that the storage area is organised and well-maintained.
What will you bring?
* Previous experience in a similar stores or warehouse role is advantageous.
* Computer skills for data entry and using inventory management software.
* Previous use of purchasing software (Coupa etc)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
* Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment.
* Good communication skills for coordinating with colleagues, suppliers, and other departments.
* Physical fitness for lifting and moving heavy items.
* Understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse / construction environment.
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. xsngvjr
