Opening Paragraph

Pulse is seeking an experienced Clinical/Forensic Psychologist to join a Learning Disabilities service in Grimsby. This is a unique opportunity to work within a psychology‑led, multi‑disciplinary team supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism who are at risk of offending or have an offending history. You’ll play a key role in helping service users transition safely from secure care into the community, reducing risk and promoting independence. Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

* Lead the delivery of highly specialist psychological assessments and interventions.
* Provide clinical supervision and consultation to colleagues and partner agencies.
* Take a senior role in managing complex cases and risk assessments.
* Deliver offence‑specific therapeutic interventions and treatments.
* Chair and facilitate complex case reviews and multi‑agency meetings.
* Contribute to service development, policy review, and research initiatives.
* Communicate complex psychological formulations and treatment plans effectively within the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications and Experience

* Doctoral‑level training in Clinical or Forensic Psychology (BPS accredited).
* Current HCPC registration.
* Experience working with complex cases and challenging behaviours.
* Strong communication, leadership, and consultation skills.
* Post‑doctoral training in specialist areas.
* Experience in service development and policy implementation.
