Reports to: Clinical Lead/Non Medical Prescribing Lead
Responsible to: Head of Practice Clinical Services
Salary: Band 8.1 to 8.7 on the ABC pay scale, equivalent to £50,901.77 - £57,323.66
Hours of work: Full time/part time, service coverage 08:00 to 20:00, Monday to Sunday
Base: UK-based remote working, with regular attendance at ABC Offices in Surrey and Sussex
The post holder will be an experienced healthcare practitioner with acute and urgent care experience, holding an MSc in Advanced Practice including independent prescribing. They must evidence a clinical portfolio and competencies aligned with the HEE national framework for advanced clinical practice, working across clinical, leadership, research, and education pillars.
The role involves practicing as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner across various services, including ABC Remote Services (uCATS, Enhanced Access, Additional Primary Care).
Main duties of the job
1. Autonomously undertake assessment and treatment of acute and chronic patient presentations.
2. Determine clinical diagnoses, treatment plans, and appropriate discharges or referrals, maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety.
3. Provide clinical expertise to less experienced staff, enhancing team skills and knowledge.
4. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered services in remote settings across all clinics.

Clinical responsibilities
* Independently undertake specialized assessments, diagnose, treat, and discharge or refer patients with various illnesses.
* Engage patients in designing and implementing their treatment plans.
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to provide seamless care and prevent hospital admissions where urgent care is needed.
* Refer to clinical leads or GPs for second opinions as appropriate.
