St Mary’s Kenmure is a child care organisation that offers a safe and secure environment for the care and education of young people who are referred from the Courts and Children’s Hearings.
Each young person is entitled to a high standard of care and education from a team of experienced and highly qualified staff who strive to meet their needs.
At St Mary’s we ensure all young people have a variety of experiences to best meet their emotional, social and physical health and wellbeing. In our school, we offer a wide range of academic and vocational subjects to ensure our young people thrive by learning and developing new skills during their stay with us. In addition, we have a variety of sporting and recreational facilities including: a seven aside football pitch, gymnasium, fitness suite and a swimming pool.
St Mary’s is located in the North of Glasgow in Bishopbriggs. It is easily commutable from Glasgow, Renfrewshire, Ayrshire, Edinburgh and Stirling.
For the role of Teacher we are looking for a dynamic, innovative and inspiring individual to join our team. You must have a range of both professional and personal qualities to meet the bespoke needs of our young people. You will be self-motivated, work well in a team, be open-minded and patient. The ability to be agile and adaptive to the individual needs of our young people is crucial to this role, along with the ability to cope with challenging situations in an ever -changing environment.
You will be fully GTC qualified and be PVG registered. This post is remunerated a £40,305 - £50,589 per year, based on 35 hours per week.
