Associate Partner An Associate Partner is a specialist activation position within a team and will often be the main point of contact for the client. An Associate will be a self-sufficient, proactive person who will support the Partner on the strategy of the function, they will be responsible for product activation, effectiveness and analysis as well as quality assurance. An Associate Partner will be client facing and be responsible for the performance for a client, channel or function.

Commercial Performance: As the main point of contact for clients, you bridge the gap between technical search metrics and real-world business objectives, ensuring Paid Search drives genuine growth.

Product Evolution: You contribute directly to the Open Partners search capability, integrating your specialist knowledge with media, creative, and data to create something more powerful than a siloed agency could.

The Search Storyteller: You turn raw data and industry trends into compelling narratives, helping clients understand the "why" behind the performance and guiding them toward the "what's next.

Financial Stewardship: You take full ownership of budget management and financial reporting, ensuring total transparency and efficiency for your client portfolio.

What Success Looks Like In 6 Months

Self-Sufficiency: You are the recognized specialist for your client group, managing complex roadmaps and testing plans with minimal oversight.

Client Trust: You have built deep, high-trust relationships where the client sees you as a proactive partner, not just an executioner of tasks.

Innovation in Action: You have successfully introduced new testing frameworks or product updates (such as SA360 or advanced automation) that have demonstrably moved the needle.

Growth Contribution: You have supported the Partner in identifying and winning cross-sell or new business opportunities through your technical expertise and clear communication.

Capabilities You’ll Bring

Technical Mastery: Significant hands-on experience in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, with the ability to navigate enterprise tools (like SA360) and complex account structures.

Analytical Storytelling: The ability to find the signal in the noise. You are comfortable with data and can present it in a way that is clear, persuasive, and actionable.

Strategic Foresight: You don’t just follow a roadmap; you build what’s next. You are proactively inquisitive about industry trends and product updates.

Accountability & Ownership: A specialist mindset where you take responsibility for the performance, quality assurance, and financial accuracy of your function.

Confident Influence: The ability to guide a client to adopt a strategy they might initially be hesitant about, using data and logic to preserve trust and drive better outcomes.

Your Outputs & Results

High-Performance Activation: Flawless implementation of best-in-class Paid Search strategies across Google and Microsoft platforms.

Strategic Roadmaps: Documented testing and improvement plans that align search activity with broader business objectives.

Financial Reporting: Ownership of accurate budget tracking and financial documentation for all assigned clients.

Client Presentations: High-quality Google Slides/PowerPoint decks that clearly communicate insights, results, and future opportunities.

Quality Assurance: A consistent track record of error-free activation and campaign management.

Role Details

Your leader: Paid Search Partner

You will lead: Specialist Activation & Client Relationships

Location: Manchester & Hybrid

Hours / Days: Full Time (5 days per week)

Specifics for this role: 2–5+ years of Paid Search experience; experience in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Google Analytics is essential.
