Overview Due to continued growth, M4 Recruitment are now seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer with a strong background in joinery to join our clients production team based in Faringdon.
Role Summary As a Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing a variety of wood and metal components to a high standard using spray techniques. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in spray painting and a working knowledge of joinery, enabling them to support the team across multiple stages of the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces (wood and metal) for spraying, including sanding, filling, priming, and masking.
Spray paint joinery and fabricated components using HVLP or airless systems to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish.
Mix and match paints to required specifications, ensuring colour and finish consistency.
Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make touch-ups as necessary.
Work closely with the joinery and fabrication teams to ensure efficient production flow.
Maintain and clean spray equipment, tools, and spray booth.
Follow all health & safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Assist in basic joinery tasks as required during quieter spray periods.
Ensure all work meets company and customer specifications.
Requirements Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer in a workshop/manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of paint types, finishes, and spray application techniques.
Background in joinery or experience working within a joinery workshop is essential.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is advantageous.
Good attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workloads effectively.

Working Hours & Pay Hours: Monday to Friday Day Shift (exact hours to be confirmed)
Pay: £14.00 - £18.00 per hour, depending on experience
