HGV Class 2 Driver Bridgwater
Operate a HGV 2 refuse vehicle collecting waste and recycling across Bridgwater and surrounding areas.
Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a rewarding role in waste management? This exciting opportunity with our client in Bridgwater offers a chance to be part of a vital service, helping keep the community clean and green. Youll be operating a HGV 2 refuse vehicle, collecting waste and recycling directly from customers properties, while also assisting with loading and other duties as needed.

Key responsibilities:
Safely operate an HGV Class 2 refuse vehicle adhering to all road safety and company policies
Collect waste and recycling from residential and commercial properties efficiently and courteously
Assist with loading waste and recyclables into the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and safety
Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report any maintenance needs promptly
Maintain accurate records of collections and route details
Support colleagues with additional duties as required to ensure smooth operations
Deliver excellent customer service, representing the company professionally at all times
Monday to Friday: 06:15 14:45
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 2 licence with clean driving record
Previous experience driving refuse or similar HGV vehicles preferred
Ability to work flexibly including early starts if needed
Good physical fitness to assist with loading duties
Strong commitment to safety and customer service
Familiarity with Bridgwater and surrounding areas is an advantage
