What you will do
* Respond to referrals with concerns about child safety or wellbeing.
* Conduct home visits and engage directly with children and families.
* Ensure the child’s voice is central to assessments and decisions.
* Perform statutory duties such as Section 17 Single Assessments and Section 47 Enquiries.
* Participate in Initial Child Protection Conferences and Child in Need meetings.
* Prepare Section 7 reports for private law proceedings when involved.
* Work in a rota system, focusing on new referrals every three weeks, allowing concentration on ongoing cases.
* Collaborate with an Advice and Information Officer, Children’s Social Care Practitioner, and business support staff for streamlined administrative tasks and direct work with families.
