Embark on an exciting journey as a Revenues Officer, where you'll play a vital role in administering the Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction scheme. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact, delivering excellent customer service and contributing to the Welfare & Benefits Service objectives.
Highlights:
Administer Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit claims accurately and within targeted timescales
Work as part of a dedicated team, providing exceptional customer service
Contribute to the Council's vision, values, and behaviours
Preferred Requirements: Responsible for processing all claims for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit in accordance with Government legislation, case law, and local policy
Ensure claims are processed accurately and within the targeted timescales
Deliver excellent customer service at the first point of contact, in line with the Council's vision, values, and behaviours
Contribute to meeting the Welfare & Benefits Service objectives and applicable Customer Service targets
Ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence through the medium of English
