Female PA aged 25+ required to support male in his 30s with learning difficulties in the Peterlee area
All care will be given in his own home.
Duties
* Making and preparing meals.
* Assisting in keeping living area clean and tidy.
* Providing personal care as and when needed.
* Assisting with medication.
* Assisting with bathing.
* Assistance to and from appointments along with main carer.
* Other general duties to be discussed at interview.
Driver with own car essential.
Reliable, must have experience in a caring role either paid or unpaid.
Experience of working with people with learning difficulties and Autism preferred.
Must have first aid experience, current proof of certification required.
Potential overnight respite care may be needed in event of emergency if main carer unable to give care/support.
Hours / wage
£13 per hour
5-7 hours per week
Flexible extra hours may be available to cover holidays and other absences – to be discussed at interview.
Successful applicants will be required to have an enhanced DBS check carried out prior to commencement. Employer will cover the cost.
