Your new company is a civil engineering and building contractor based in NI, with over 50 years of experience in successfully delivering projects across the region. This contractor’s portfolio includes healthcare, community, leisure & tourism, education, and commercial buildings. Over this company's lifespan, they have developed an enviable reputation. Due to ongoing works, they are now looking for a Site Engineer to join their team.
Your new role
Your new role will be as a senior site engineer on a £32m healthcare project based in Co. Fermanagh. You will be responsible for all aspects of engineering duties including setting out, managerial responsibilities, quality control, supervising subcontractors, HSEQ, progress reporting, measuring and ordering materials, managing labour, and reporting to the site manager. You will be essential in the successful completion of this project and will work alongside the site manager to achieve project success.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous site engineering experience and a qualification in a construction-related field are essential. Experience within the build sector and previous healthcare, commercial, or education projects will be highly desirable. Technical knowledge of setting out duties, interpreting architectural drawings, and applying these drawings to daily operations on site is required. Attention to detail will ensure the project is completed to an excellent standard. Proficient time management and organizational skills are necessary. A valid CSR / CSCS / SMSTS card is required.
