We are seeking a reliable and proactive Site Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at Riverside Primary School. This is a key role in helping to maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors and relevent previous experience is essential. Shift patterns may vary between mornings and afternoons. This is a part time role for 15 hours per week, 52 weeks (all year round).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Site Manager in ensuring that the school buildings, grounds, and extended facilities are well-maintained, secure, and presentable at all times.
2. Support the coordination and implementation of health and safety procedures, ensuring all regulations are met and adhered to across the school site.
3. Contribute to the overall ethos, values, and aims of the school community, working collaboratively with all staff.
4. Responsibility for opening and locking the school premises on a daily basis as the designated key holder.
