Role Responsibilities
Lead and develop SEND provision across the school as SENCo
Oversee EHCPs, provision mapping and interventions in your SENCo role
Work closely with teaching staff to ensure high-quality, inclusive classroom practice
Liaise effectively with parents, external agencies and local authorities
Use data to monitor progress and outcomes for pupils with SEND in Braintree, Essex
Person Specification
Qualified teacher with the National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete)
Strong understanding of SEND legislation, statutory guidance and best practice
Experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
Organised, proactive and confident in leading whole-school SEND strategy
Passionate about inclusion and ready to take on the responsibility of the SENCo position in Braintree, Essex
