Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join Derby Homes’ Finance & Income Team on a 3 month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to provide vital support in a busy finance environment.
✅ Key Responsibilities:

Processing a high volume of invoices accurately and in line with company procedures
*
Assisting with accounts receivable requests to support income recovery
*
Ordering goods and services in line with procurement procedures and verifying receipt before payment
*
Maintaining manual and computerised account records across various finance systems
*
Preparing reports and providing advice on expenditure, income, and payments
*
Supporting the Accounts Team Leader with day-to-day finance operations
*
Delivering excellent customer service in line with company standards
🎯 Requirements:

Previous experience in accounts payable or a finance administration role
*
Ability to manage high volumes of work and meet deadlines
*
Excellent communication and customer service skills
