We are recruiting Graduate Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Oldham from September 2026.
This role is ideal for graduates considering a career in secondary teaching, education, youth work or psychology, who are looking to gain paid classroom experience before committing to teacher training.
As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classrooms during short-term teacher absence, following pre-set work and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Role Responsibilities
* Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 in secondary schools
* Deliver pre-planned work set by the class teacher
* Manage behaviour in line with school policies
* Ensure pupils remain focused and engaged
* Gain hands-on experience in a secondary school setting
* Build confidence managing groups of students
No lesson planning or marking required.

Previous classroom experience is not essential.
