Role Overview
We have an excellent opportunity for someone to develop and learn about ER whilst being part of a supportive and nurturing team. This role will enable the right person to gain further knowledge and exposure within the ER setting by providing timely and accurate administrative support to the ER team. You will successfully triage all casework in line with our business model to ER Consultants along with managing your own caseload of varied and interesting ER cases. You will be working as part of a team of subject matter experts who manage a broad and varied complex caseload across all Bupa Provisions in order to bring cases to an effective conclusion.
What you’ll do:
1. Ensure that all casework is triaged effectively and efficiently within the agreed SLAs
2. Provide advice and guidance to managers in respect of low risk ER related queries including absence management, probation, flexible working and issue resolution/disciplinary matters.
3. Escalation and alerting of high risk cases or non-conformation of process
4. Maintain and promote relationships and work collaboratively with the wider People team.
5. Carry out general administration tasks for the ER Team.
6. Manage the OH referral process through screening and submission of OH referrals.
What you’ll bring:
7. Ability to multi task, work to tight deadlines, prioritise under pressure and use own initiative
8. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload
9. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment with a focus resolution and partnering
10. Accuracy and attention to detail by recording detailed notes in the case management system and responding to all queries with accurate information
11. Ideally, previous exposure to ER issues and some employment law awareness
