We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) who will provide high‑standard patient care and act as an independent prescriber. The role works 24 hours per week from our GP practice in Abbeydale, Gloucester.

Responsibilities
* Deliver a high standard of patient care as an ACP, using advanced autonomous clinical skills.
* Manage a clinical caseload in primary care, providing assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation.
* Provide telephone triage and face‑to‑face appointments for urgent care.
* Prescribe safely and effectively in accordance with current legislative framework.
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and support the delivery of policy and procedures.
* Mentor and support other healthcare professionals in developing and maintaining clinical skills.
Qualifications
* Registered General Nurse (currently registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council)
* Recognised NP/ACP qualification at minimum of degree level or equivalent
* Independent Nurse Prescriber
* Minimum of 5 years post registration experience
* Evidence of appropriate continuing professional development activity to maintain up‑to‑date knowledge and competence.
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to assess and manage patient risk effectively and safely.
