Role: Data Centre Shift Technician Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off, 6 on, 4 off, 4 on, 6 off. All shifts are 12 hour shifts. Mix of Days and Nights Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum Type: Permanent
Trevett Services are currently searching for Shift Technicians on a permanent basis starting as soon as possible based in Hayes with one of the UK's leading Globalcommercial real estate services & investment companies.
Duties: Assist with daily site inspections of Mechanical and Engineering systems and technical equipment.
Complete PPM, servicing and reactive maintenance.
React to BMS alarms and compete emergency repairs.
Installation and modification of site electrical services.
Operation and trouble shooting of emergency lighting, BMS, AC System, VAV, Split Systems, AHU's, Generators and other technical systems.
Work with vendors to ensure compliance and regulations are being followed.
Monitor work completed by subcontractors and flag any lack of performance.
Check BMS alarm conditions and respond to HVAC related problems.
Complete building walkthroughs and take meter readings from UPS and utilities.
Fix plant faults and defects.
Requirements: Basic education with written and spoken English and basic Maths skills.
Former experience in a Building Services environment.
City & Guilds qualification or equivalent in Electrical or Maintenance fields.
18th Edition IEE
HV Approved Person.
Confined Space Training for when applicable.
BMS Knowledge.
Be physically fit to carry tools, and components by hand up to 20kg.
Be able to present information clearly back to peers and management.
Experienced with working in a critical environment / data center is ideal.
