RESPONSIBLE FOR: No direct reports
COMMUNICATORS: Position works with CEO, Whiskymaker, all aspects of Marketing & PR, Sales team, and The Lakes Distillery and Brand Home teams, as well as with agency personnel as well as various vendor and provider representatives.
MAIN PURPOSE:
This role will work closely with the Group Head of Brand and operate as an integral function within the wider Marketing department across Brand, Digital, Creative, Procurement, Partnerships, Events & Activations and Trade Marketing. They will manage daily departmental tasks, oversee requirements and play a crucial role in larger projects and strategic initiatives, including campaign management and ensuring brand messaging, aesthetic and values are upheld across all Marketing channels.
SCOPE:
The scope of the role involves developing and executing brand strategies that enhance market presence, drive consumer engagement, and support business growth. This role involves managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, leading on the development of impactful and relevant brand assets and content, and working closely with marketing colleagues to support the delivery of consistent brand messaging across marketing channels. By leveraging consumer insights and collaborating with internal teams and external partners, the Brand Manager will uphold the brand's luxury positioning and expand influence in UK markets and internationally.

Responsibilities
Partner closely with the Group Head of Brand to shape, plan, and execute high-impact campaigns, launches, key brand moments, and always-on activity that drives year-round visibility and growth.
• Co-define ambitious short- and long-term brand objectives, KPIs, and growth targets, ensuring every initiative ladders up to measurable business impact.
• Own and manage the end-to-end Marketing calendar, aligning cross-functional teams and keeping long-term strategies on track and on time.
• Support the Senior Graphic Designer to deliver outstanding digital and print assets that meet creative vision, channel requirements, deadlines, and brand standards; provide hands-on support for selected productions and shoots when needed.
• Collaborate with Procurement to deliver POS, collateral, and packaging to exact specifications, overseeing the full production lifecycle to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery, including projects at The Lakes Distillery Brand Home.
• Lead content production initiatives, partnering with creative teams to develop compelling visuals, messaging, and branded assets that elevate brand presence.
• Work closely with Copywriters to craft persuasive brand copy and ensure consistent storytelling across every touchpoint.
• Manage external design and creative agencies, maintaining strong relationships, clear briefs, and high standards of delivery.
• Maintain the marketing budget tracker and raise PAFs as required, ensuring financial accuracy and accountability.
• Support strategic decision-making through market research, translating insights into clear recommendations and forward-thinking brand direction for leadership.
• Partner with the Head of Sales International to deliver brand support for global markets, including partnerships, activations, and POSM development.
• Lead and produce the quarterly internal company newsletter, strengthening internal engagement and brand alignment.
• Act as the ultimate Brand Guardian, protecting and championing brand guidelines to ensure consistency, integrity, and excellence across all outputs.
Experience
Extensive brand management experience, ideally gained within luxury spirits or premium drinks, with a strong understanding of the nuances of high-end markets.
• Refined luxury brand sensibility, developed through working with premium consumer brands and demonstrating a deep appreciation of luxury audiences, products, and aesthetics.
• Demonstrated success in building and evolving brands, leading impactful campaigns, and delivering strategic plans that drive measurable growth.
• Strong analytical capability paired with a strategic mindset, using insight-led decision-making to inform direction and unlock brand growth opportunities.
• In-depth understanding of luxury brand positioning and consumer psychology, with the ability to translate this into compelling brand strategies.
• Exceptional project management expertise, confidently managing multiple priorities and deadlines within fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
