We have an exciting opportunity for an Audit Trainee in our Lewes office.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual with a genuine interest in what makes a business tick! In this role you will gain valuable insight and hands‑on experience of Audit & Assurance and provide day‑to‑day support to our highly successful and growing Audit & Assurance Team. For the right candidate there will also be opportunities for progression within the company.
Key responsibilities
* Work alongside seniors/semi seniors on audits
* Assist in various stages of the audit process
* Undertake non‑audit assignments including accounts preparation
* Attend regular courses and meetings to ensure your knowledge is kept up to date in a constantly changing economic environment
* Support Seniors on in‑house & external Audits for a wide variety of clients
About you
* Either AAT qualified or have achieved a 2:1 or above in a relevant degree
* Ideally familiar with CCH
* Proficient in Microsoft – Excel, PowerPoint, Word
* Values the importance of team work, listens well & supports colleagues
* Strong organisational and planning skills
* Demonstrate professional presentation & work ethic
